Agriculture is the backbone of India. That is what our founder Sri Anil Kumar Roy, strongly believed in. He was bent on inducing courage in the Indian agricultural sector and bringing a huge advancement in the sector. It was with this dream that the BabaMalleshwar group of companies was born.
It was an era where farmers were not getting enough earnings despite being able to produce a great yield. The lack of a proper industrial set-up that would support them was the primary reason for the bad conditions that the farmers were going through. The need of the hour at the time was setting up a paddy processing unit to produce rice.

We are one of the most popular rice processing, rice bran oil, and de-oiled rice bran producers in the entire State of West Bengal. It was the vision of our founder Anil Kumar Roy.
After 30 years of serving the nation with quality products, our responsibilities have also grown. We are committed to provide the high-quality services and products to our discerning customers. We make use of several ways to help us improve our quality and productivity levels.

The Baba Malleshwar Group of Companies is led by the son of our founder Sri Tapan Kanti Roy, and supported by the grandsons and granddaughters of the founder. The amalgamation of young talent and experience makes us a company that is set to grow further.
Our Company Profile
The Baba Malleshwar group of companies is a dream of our founder Anil Kumar Roy. His dream was to provide a platform for the farmers to sell their products at a decent rate. The lack of a large industrial setup was identified by our founder, who moved ahead to set up a paddy processing unit in due course.
Anil Kumar Roy was a visionary, and he had the relevant experience in the paddy industry. He joined the rice trading in 1976 and built a huge network of vendors, traders, and other associates. In 1985, he began leasing out rice mills for paddy processing. This is where he gained enough knowledge in paddy processing.
He later decided to set up his own venture in 1993, which was the first company under our portfolio.
